Man sentenced to 24 years for raping minor at gunpoint
August 12th, 2013 (InsideCostaRica.com) A man identified by the last name of Obando has been sentenced to 24 years in prison by the Criminal Court of Limon after pleading guilty to six counts of aggravated rape and one count of making aggravated threats against a minor under the age of 14.
The events for which Obando was sentenced occurred in the home of a relative of the minor in 2010.
The Court found that Obando held a gun to the minor’s head in order to commit the offenses.
