Chuck E. Cheese to open three locations in Costa Rica
August 8th, 2013 (InsideCostaRica.com) Chuck E Cheese, the U.S. franchise that combines pizza along with scores of games for children, will be arriving in Costa Rica soon.
Corporación Álvarez y Marín is the local company that obtained the franchise rights, and says its goal is to open three restaurants over the course of four years.
On average, each restaurant seats 450 to 500 and will require an investment of about $3 million each. Each restaurant will provide direct and indirect employment for approximately 150 people.
The company believes the franchise provides a unique opportunity that doesn’t currently face competition in the country.
Costa Rica will be the second country in Latin America with a Chuck E Cheese presence, after Panama.
