Former Costa Rican model, Pamela Cespedes, was gunned down along with a Guatemalan man in November of last year.
June 28th, 2013 (InsideCostaRica.com) Agents of the Judicial Investigation Organization (OIJ) in Alajuela arrested this morning several suspects in the murder of 29-year-old Costa Rican model, Pamela Cespedes and a 52-year-old Guatemalan man, Sigifredo Fernández Sierra.
Additional raids are reportedly underway in Alajuela and Moravia at this time, and agents already have several suspects in custody.
OIJ director, Francisco Segura, said last month that the killings are believed to be drug-related.
Costa Rican authorities reportedly collaborated with counterparts in Guatemala as part of the investigation and arrests.
The murders occurred in November of last year, on Route 27, as the pair traveled in a vehicle.
