June 13th, 2013 (InsideCostaRica.com) A moderate earthquake measuring 4.5 on the Richter scale shook the Central Valley yesterday evening. The temblor struck at 8:59pm, with its epicenter located southeast of Quepos de Aguirre.
Although the quake’s epicenter was in Quepos, it was felt more strongly in the Central Valley and San Isidro de El General.
Shaking was reported in San José, Alajuela, Cartago, Heredia and Puntarenas.
No damage or injuries were reported.
