June 6th, 2013 (InsideCostaRica.com) Residents in the area of Cariari de Pococí will be without water for 30 hours beginning at 8 a.m. this morning. The more than 24-hour outage is due to preventative maintenance, according to The Costa Rican Institute of Aqueducts and Sewers (AyA).
The outage will last from 8 a.m. this morning, and service will not be restored until noon tomorrow.
Some 32,000 residents in the area of Cariari de Pococi will be affected, including Anita Grande, San Luis, Lesville, La Arrocera, Najera, Urb LA Sole, Astua Pirie, Los Pinos, Barrio España, Nuevo Caribe, Los Lagos, Campo de Aterrizaje and Campo 5. All of Cariari will also be without water service.
