May 24th, 2013 (InsideCostaRica.com) Eight of the ten best beaches in Central America are located in Costa Rica, according to the “Travellers Choice 2013” ranking by TripAdvisor, released yesterday.

 

The best beach in Central America, according to users of the web site, is Manuel Antonio, located on the Central Pacific coast of Costa Rica.

 

Coming in second was Playa Samara, also located on Costa Rica’s Pacific coast in the province of Guanacaste.

 

Taking third place was West Bay, on the island of Roatan, off Honduras’ Caribbean coast.
