Expect showers, thunderstorms this week
May 21st, 2013 (InsideCostaRica.com) According to the National Meteorological Institute (IMN), this week will see rain showers and thunderstorms in the afternoons and evenings, especially in the Pacific and Central Valley.
IMN said that precipitation and thunderstorm activity in the Pacific and the Central Valley would further increase beginning on Thursday, due to higher humidity and the proximity of low-pressure systems.
The Caribbean slope can expect scattered showers both in the morning and evening.
