Rodolfo Hernandez is the PUSC candidate for president

May 20^th, 2013 (InsideCostaRica.com) The Social Christian Unity Party (PUSC) announced yesterday that Dr. Rodolfo Hernandez would be the party candidate for the presidency in 2014.  Dr. Hernandez is director of the Children’s Hospital.

Hernandez won with 77% of his party’s support, compared to his opponent, Rodolfo Piza, who claimed just 23%.

After entering his own vote yesterday, Hernandez said his administration would be based on ethics and anti-corruption, should he become president.

Nearly 145,000 people took part in the voting.
