April 2nd, 2013 (InsideCostaRica.com) Weak to moderate trade winds will present themselves this week, in addition to scattered showers, according to the National Meteorological Institute (IMN).
Morning and nighttime showers are expected throughout the week in Limon and the Northern Zone, while afternoon showers are expected in the Central and South Pacific zones, as well as some parts of the western Central Valley.
April is typically considered the month in which Costa Rica begins its transition from its “summer” (dry) season to the “green” (rainy) season in the Pacific zones and the Central Valley.
