Catholics celebrate the Passion, Death, and Resurrection of Jesus Christ Today
March 25th, 2013 (InsideCostaRica.com) Throughout Costa Rica today, Catholics will commemorate the Passion, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ for Holy Monday.
As part of the activities today, the Catholic Church conducts the Solinme Via Crucis , which roughly means the “path to the cross,” during which Catholics will commemorate the suffering of Jesus from the time he was imprisoned until his death on the cross.
In San Jose the activity will take place at 7pm, leaved from the La Merced parish church on its way to the Metropolitan Cathedral along Avenida 4, preceded by the Metropolitan Archbishop.
