La Paz - The Bolivian
Attorney General''s Office questions on
Tuesday owners of hotels and entities linked
to the terrorist gang neutralized on April
16 in the eastern region of Santa Cruz.
According to investigator Marcelo Sosa, one
of the first to testify will be Miguel Salek,
owner of the Falcom Company, in charge of
the Fexpocruz security and operator of the
stand where the police found an arsenal of
weapons and explosives.
Sosa also reported that managers of the
Buganvillas, Asturias, Santa Cruz and Las
Americas hotels, Eduardo Vega, Maria Diaz
Lima, Evelin Leigue and Hernan Rossel,
respectively, will also appear in court in
La Paz this week.
Also pending is the key witness that
according to those accused, is Ignacio
Villapaz, also known as "El Viejo."
Gustavo Torrico, deputy of the governing
Movement towards Socialism, stated that the
Parliament special commission will interview
today Luis Hurtado, who paid housing
expenses of those alleged terrorists in the
Buganvillas and Santa Cruz hotels.
The Justice Ministry accused Monday Santa
Cruz' main authorities, including Prefect
Ruben Costasm, for being linked to the
terrorist cell.
Bolivian-Hungarian-Croatian Eduardo Rozsa,
Hungarian-Croatian Magyarosi Arpad, and
Irish Martin Dwyer were killed in a police
operation on April 16.
Also detained were Mario Francisco Tadic
Astorga, a Bolivian with Croatian passport,
and Hungarian Elod Toaso, who are in
preventive prison in La Paz. |
