Central America for End of Cuba Blockade
Managua - The member countries of the
Central American Integration System (SICA)
will demand the end of the US blockade of
Cuba.
In addition, a projected Final Declaration
of the extraordinary meeting of the group's
heads of State and government on March 25 in
Managua applauds Costa Rica and Salvador for
the announced decision to re-establish
diplomatic relations with Cuba.
The meeting is intended to go over the
agreements reached on January 15, when
Nicaragua assumed the temporary
chairmanship.
The participants will also exchange on the
impacts of the world economic crisis on
regional countries, and the top level
meeting they will hold on March 30 with US
Vice President Joseph Biden in San Jose,
Costa Rica. |
