Brazil Plan G-20 Summit
Buenos Aires - Argentine President Cristina
Fernandez leaves for the Brazilian city of
Sao Paulo Thursday to agree with her peer,
Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, upon a common
stance at the coming G-20 Summit.
The Group of 20, gathering the world's
richest nations and some emerging economies,
will meet on April 2 in London to seek
better actions to face the world economic
crisis.
Fernandez, who will be accompanied by 500
businesspeople, will close the Week of
Argentinean Industry in Brazil, official
sources confirmed.
She will lunch with Lula at the headquarters
of the San Pablo Federation of Industries,
to be also attended by 1,200 businesspeople
from the two countries.
In that framework, Brazilian and Argentinean
officials and businesspeople will analyze a
way out of commercial differences, which
have generated tensions in bilateral
relations.
