Caracas - President Hugo Chavez assured
today there will be no crisis able to stop
the march toward socialism, independence and
the greatness of the Venezuelan people.
The week beginning tomorrow will surely be
an occasion for some announcements which
will contribute to strengthen even more
Venezuela´s stand before the critical world
situation, affirmed the Executive in his
Sunday column Chavez Lines, titled “The
Perfect Crisis.” He adds that over the last
days some tactical formulas have been
revised, accompanied by its corresponding
strategic mechanisms.
The head of State bases his analysis on the
Cuban Revolution leader Fidel Castro´s
reflection, published last March 8under the
title “A meeting worth holding”, about his
talk with Argentine intellectual Atilio
Boron.
“I have wanted to bring forward these ideas
and reflections (...) to motivate all of
you, fellow patriots who read me, to closely
follow the so-called “perfect crisis,” which
while it truly has not hit us yet, thanks to
the political and economic decisions that
the Bolivarian Revolution has been taking
for several years, the strategic moment is
arriving when its impact will begin to be
felt in Venezuela.” He explains, however,
that the government with the support of the
people, of workers, farmers, women,
students, youth, revolutionary parties and
the Bolivarian Armed Forces will take the
necessary measures to assure the continuity
of the national development plans.
The President stressed it is the
responsibility of the national leadership to
healthily orient the serious and transparent
debate on the crisis that keeps galloping
over the world horizon and which some
analysts have gotten to name “The perfect
crisis.”
