Russia Sign Visa Abolition Agreement
Buenos Aires - Argentina on Wednesday
signed an agreement with Russia abolishing
visas for both countries' citizens, local
media reported.
The decision was agreed by Argentine
President Cristina Fernandez and her Russian
counterpart, Dmitry Medvedev, in December
2008.
The measure will mainly benefit tourists and
businessmen of the two countries as they
will have a 90-day visa-free stay in each
other's country.
The agreement is expected to give more
traveling facility to the people and promote
the exchanges and ties between the two
countries, Argentine Foreign Minister Jorge
Taiana said.
