Bolivia Wants Terror Backers in Jail
La Paz - Bolivian Public Ministry issued
an arrest warrant against the US repatriated
Bolivian citizens, accused of funding a terrorist
cell neutralized in April in Santa Cruz.
According to Attorney Marcelo Sosa, the information
found in electronic equipment allowed them to
confirm the names of some of the people involved:
Hugo Acha and Alejandro Melgar, who fled to the US.
Luis Hurtado, Enrique Vaca, Hector Laguna, Lorgio
Balcazar and Juan Carlos Velarde must also be
captured.
Sosa explained that the request will be presented
before the competent authorities and disclosed in
the case of the two fugitives that the government
may request collaboration from International Police,
INTERPOL.
He said that according to the latest evidence
gathered those people are involved in the supply of
arms and equipment to the band identified as members
of the group funding the extremists led by Bolivian
Eduardo Rozsa Flores, who died along with other two
collaborators on April 16 in Las Americas Hotel.
Magyarosi Arpad (Hungarian-Croatian) and Michael
Martin Dwyer (Irish) also died in that action and
Mario Tadic (Bolivian with Croatian passport) and
Elod Toaso (Hungarian) were detained and are now in
prison in La Paz. |
