China, Latin America Business Summit in
Bogota
Beijing - The third China-Latin America
Business Summit will session at the
International Business and Exhibition
Center, CORFERIAS in Bogota on November
25-26, sources formally reported Wednesday.
This is to be the third encounter of the
type between business people from both
regions, the first convened in Santiago de
Chile, 2007 and the second in the city of
Harbin, in the Chinese province of
Heilongjiang.
The President of the China Council for the
Promotion of International Trade, CCPIT Wan
Jinfei released the news during a lecture
with ambassadors and diplomats of Latin
America.
According to the scheduled agenda, this
Business Summit, with hundreds of business
people from China and Latin America
attending, joins hands in fostering trade
and investment between both.
The collaboration between China and Latin
America has increased in 40 percent,
reaching in 2008 more than 140 billion
dollars. |
