Anti-Communist Campaign in Colombia
BOGOTA - A smear campaign aimed at discrediting and putting the PCC (Colombian Communist Party) into question has been launched, PCC weekly La Voz editor Carlos Lozano denounced on Thursday.

Lozano said this policy includes an investigation launched by the General Attorney's Office into alleged PCC links to FARC (the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia.)

In statements to CM& news show, Lozano denied the existence of any evidence to indict him and described this campaign as an open political persecution by the govermment through the General Attorney's Office.

He added that the Executive is trying to silence the opposition, using tricks and false accusations to hide the truth about what is really happening in the country.
