Gas Prices Fall At Midnight
If you haven't filled your vehicle's gasoline tank yet, hold on a few more hours, as the price of gasoline drops considerably at the stroke of midnight.

The price of a litre of super gasoline will drop to ¢687 from today's ¢722, regular will drop to ¢665 from the current ¢708; and diesel drops to ¢609 from ¢650.

The reduction was approved by the Autoridad Reguladora de los Servicios Públicos (Aresep) and takes effect at the stroke of midnight Thursday, a day after the approval is published in the official government publication, La Gaceta.

This Friday the state refinery, the Refinadora Costarricense de Petróleo (Recope), is due to ask for a price change in gasoline prices.

Recope is allowed to make the request every second Friday of the month and it is hoped that change will be a further drop, to reflect the drop in the cost of crude oil on international markets, and not an increase.
