100 Ideas To Get Costa
Rica Moving Forward
The Sunday edition of
the Spanish daily Al Día
published a list of 100
ideas for Costa Rica as
submitted by its
readers. Some of the
ideas include more work,
changes of attitude,
turn eyes towards God,
values and the teachings
of ancestors.
Readers submit that the
country needs to be
tougher on criminals,
betters roads, highways
and infrastructure and a
modern and quality
public transportation
system.
Useful education that
include classes in
civility, values and to
finish college with work
are all part of the
list.
The Al Día asked its
readers to propose ideas
to better Costa Rica. In
total it received 325
suggestions from across
all economic classes and
corners of the country.
It took the newspaper
two months and 18 days
to compile the list and
offer readers a
collection of 100 best
ideas to better the
nation.
The idea was born in
France where French
president promised to
enact the “300 decisions
for changing France",
the list devised by a
team of 40 experts after
his election last May to
find a way to “unleash
the economic growth that
France is lacking”.
A similar list was
produced in Spain as
part of the general
elections in that
country on March 9 and
the top 100 ideas were
published in the daily
El País.
Although the ideas lack
feasibility and possible
execution, the following
are the ideas submitted
by the Al Día readers:
