Classes Suspended in Panama University
Panamanian academic authorities said classes at the University of Panama are still suspended after the confrontations Friday between students and antiriot forces.

Miguel Angel Candanedo, secretary general of the educational institution, said that in the day, meetings with the students to analyze the topic, without informing on major details.

Groups of young people blocked the adjacent ways to the University of Panama in protest for the high cost of life, and threw stones and other objects to the police forces.

Candanedo said the University Academic Council will analyze three reports on the incidents to determine reopening of classes.
