Tropical Wave Expected For Sunday
Best to have the umbrella handy this weekend, as a new tropical wave is expected to hit Costa Rica, bringing with it rain in the Caribbean and Pacific coasts as well as the Central Valley.

According to the experts at the Instituto Meteorológico Nacional (IMN) - national weather service - the rain will not be strong, but will be constant and will be responsible for the cloudy skies.

The worst of the tropical wave is expected for Sunday.

Rebecca Morera of the IMN explianed that tropical waves are common during the rainy season and is important to keep an eye on water levels in the rivers and creeks.

Tropical storm Alma that caused the damage in many parts of the country, especially in Parrita and Perez Zeledon, began as a tropical wave.
