July 25 Holiday To Be Celebrated On Monday
 For the record, the holiday "día de la Anexión de Guanacaste" which falls on the calendar this Friday, July 25, will be officially celebrated on Monday, July 28.

Government offices, banks and many businesses will be closed on Monday and not on Friday.

The holiday is a mandatory holiday and employees who are requested to work on Monday will be paid double.
