Honduras Fowl Deaths Flap Nicaragua
Nicaraguan Health authorities are alarmed over a possible outbreak after the death of 200 fowl in Honduras, although there are no indications of bird flu, El Nuevo Diario daily reported Saturday.

The newspaper says authorities are waiting for information from their neighbors on the animals` cause of death in an area between the limits of Honduras and El Salvador.

It also indicates that there is no material evidence yet, but it definitely is not avian flu or virus H5N1.

On the other hand, the Nicaraguan Farming and Forest Ministry is also waiting for the results of the investigation.
