Lower Tourist Arrivals
At Liberia
For the second
consecutive month the
number of tourists
arriving at the Daniel
Oduber international
airport in Liberia was
lower that then same
period in 2007.
According to figures
provided by the Cámara
Nacional de Turismo (Canatur),
there is a 3% reduction
in the number of
tourists arriving at the
airport this June and
1.9% in July in
comparison to the
arrivals in the same
months in 2007.
Gonzalo Vargas,
president of Canatur,
said despite the
reduction, the country
continues with a
satisfactory number of
tourists with respect to
other destinations. |
