Regulator approves increases in gasoline, diesel prices

April 1st, 2015 (InsideCostaRica.com) Regulator ARESEP has approved a series of price hikes for gasoline and diesel for the second time this year.

 

Super gasoline will increase ¢31/liter, from ¢570 to ¢601; regular gasoline will increase ¢29/liter from ¢545 to ¢574; while diesel will increase ¢7/liter from ¢493 to ¢500.

 

The new prices will become effective after official publication sometime next week.

    This increase is to pay for the salaries of people in the Refinery who have nothing to do , Since they are not working they should be fired or have a large pay cut! It should start from the top !

      Taxes added on brings the price up. Research for yourself how much tax is on each liter of propane, regular, premium, and diesel. This should answer your query.
