45 students robbed on bus from UCR to Pavas

October 9th, 2012 – Yesterday, at around 9:30pm, two men boarded and robbed a busload of 45 students from the University of Costa Rica (UCR) as they were attempting to travel home after a day of studies.

 

The bus was travelling from UCR in San Pedro, where the robbery occurred, en route to Pavas.

 

The robbers stayed aboard the bus for about 10 minutes, and were then picked up by a third party driving a red Hyundai passenger car, according to witnesses.

 

Fortunantely, nobody was injured.

 

Police are currently conducting operations in San Pedro and surrounding areas, looking for the suspects.
