Locals Gather to Celebrate Music
Día de Música Music filled the air and children crowded the stage during a performance by a band accompanying local singers in Liberia´s Parque Central.

People around the world swayed to the beat last Wednesday to celebrate the Festival of Music, an event that began in France in 1982.

About 120 countries now take part, offering free public concerts every June 21st, marking the longest day of the year in the northern hemisphere.
