Tegucigalpa - Honduran Health Minister
Carlos Aguilar said on Monday lab tests in
the United States have ruled out the eight
cases of A/H1N1.
"The eight samples sent to U.S. were
negative," Aguilar said at a press
conference at the Government House.
"Honduras sent the samples to a lab in
Atlanta, Georgia in the United States one
week ago after there were patient highly
suspicious of having this disease," Aguilar
said.
"In this way, currently there are no
confirmed case in the country," Aguilar
said.
The country sent one more sample to the
United States on Monday.
Aguilar said preventive measures are in
operation at customs offices and airports of
the country.
