city historian Eusebio Leal is arriving in
Guatemala today on an invitation by the
Culture and Sports Ministry to attend an
international seminar on restoration.
Leal, expert on archaeological sciences,
will give a master lecture in the National
Ethnology Museum of this capital.
The Cuban historian has received the Title
Doctor Honoris Causa granted by eight
universities, and much recognition for his
restoration labor in Old Havana, declared a
UNESCO World Heritage site.
His work leading the preservation of the
Havana historical quarter has combined
restoration of ancient buildings with
