Panama - The head of Panama's National
Cultural Institute was killed in a shootout
between private security guards and gunmen,
officials said.
Anel Omar Rodriguez was hit by a stray
bullet during the shootout in the capital,
Panama City, that reportedly did not target
him, La Prensa newspaper reported Wednesday.
Tuesday's violence also left one of the
gunmen and a security guard dead.
