Bolivia Praises 5 Countries

La Paz - The Bolivian Defense Minister
Walter San Miguel praised Friday the links between
his country's armed forces and his peers in Ecuador,
Paraguay, Peru, Venezuela and Argentine.
San Miguel assured the mutual confidence among the
countries troops is also the result of the
Bolivarian parade of the peoples held Thursday in
honor of the 200 years of 1809 Revolution.
The presence of soldiers from brother countries
prove how much we have worked all these years for
the Latin American unity, he remarked.
San Miguel emphasized the presence in La Paz of a
representation from "Eloy Alfaro" Military College
in Ecuador and students of Marshal Francisco Solano
Lopez military Academy.
He also highlighted participation in the parade of a
faction of the Fourth Mountain Brigade of Peru's
Army and the Venezuelan Military Academy.
In the indigenous-military parade, he noted, also
participated a contingent form Argentine cavalry
regiment General Martin Miguel Guemes.
In addition, the chief of Peru Armed Forces General
Francisco Contreras emphasized the good conditions
of bilateral relations with Bolivia. |
