Bilingual Job Fair Looking
To Hire 3.500
The Coalición Costarricense de Iniciativas de Desarrollo (CINDE) -
the The Costa Rican Investment Promotion Agency - will be holding
its job fair on February 20, 21 and 22, where 3.500 jobs will be
offered by 27 companies like Sykes, Western Union,Amazon.com, Citi,
and Fujitsu.
The CINDE job fair is being haled at the Centro Nacional de la
Cultura, the old Fábrica Nacional de Licores.
The main requisite for the fifth annual CINDE job fair is that
applicants must be bilingual (English and Spanish).
Yesterday, an estimated 5.000 people attended the Colegio
Universitario Boston in San José to fill 1.000 jobs offered by 14
companies, including Pricewaterhouse Coopers, Credomatic, McDOnald's
and Empleos.net.
Tania Rojas, in charge of Bienestar Estudiantil de Boston, said that
not everyone to showed up got a chance to meet their future
employers and hand in a resume. Lines outside the school extended
for some 400 metres or 4 blocks.
