Chavez’s “Generosity”
In Brussels, Costa Rican
president Oscar Arias
pointed out the
“generosity and
solidarity” displayed by
his Venezuelan peer Hugo
Chavez, but
remarked that they have
“very different ways of
thinking.”
Dr. Arias added that the
current Venezuelan
cooperation for Latin
America and the
Caribbean countries is
at least four to five
times higher than the
one from the United
States.
He made his comments at
the start of a visit to
Europe. Before the
congressmen of the
European Union, Arias
requested that this bloc
open its markets to
competitive products
from Costa Rica and
Central America. |
