Greets Obama Victory
Managua - President
Daniel Ortega expressed
today his satisfaction
for the triumph of
Barack Obama in the
presidential elections
of the United States and
said he sent him a
greeting to the winner
through the US
ambassador to this
country.
We are very happy with
election results in the
United States. Obama
won!, said the
Sandinista president
during the inauguration
this Wednesday of the
road project La
Libertad-Juigalpa, 106
miles east of Managua.
Ortega said to have
called last night the US
ambassador in Nicaragua,
Robert Callahan, to ask
him send his greetings
to the president-elect.

that the northern nation

on a Black president,
said the Nicaragua
leader, who remembered
that Obama had said to
be ready to work with
Latin American nations.
