Venezuelan President
Hugo Chavez arrived in
Cuba on an invitation by
President Raul Castro.
The South American
leader was welcomed at
the Havana airport by
Raul Castro, Vice
President Carlos Lage,
Foreign Minister Felipe
Perez Roque and First
Deputy Foreign Minister
Bruno Rodriguez, Granma
newspaper reported
Saturday.
Chavez arrived in this
capital from Dominican
Republic, after
attending the 20th Rio
Group Summit.
The statesman came
accompanied by Foreign
Minister Nicolas Maduro
and other members of the
Venezuelan government.
