The Big Game At 11:00am
Today
The rained out game that
was supposed to be
played last Wednesday
between La Liga and
Saprissa will get
underway at 11:00am
today, as the two top
teams in the country
square off for the
championship.
The game is being played
at the Alejandro Morera
Soto stadium in Alajuela,
the home of La Liga, who
will be looking to win
their first game against
Saprissa in three years
and the championship,
while Saprissa is
looking for its fourth
championship win.
The lines between the
teams are clearly drawn,
as well as that of the
fans.
All over the Central
Valley, fans proudly
sport their red and
black of purple outfits,
wave flags and are
convinced that "their"
team will come out on
top today. The "morados"
(Saprissa fans) have
much to boast and
celebrate, but the
underdog "ligistas"
aren't giving up hope so
easily.
The Liga has only one
job at hand: win against
Saprissa. While the
Saprissa's job is a lot
harder, not only do they
have to win, but have to
conserve their title.

will take the game and
