Lost Little Girl Found
Alive And Well After
Spending Two Nights In a
Coffee Plantation
A five year old little
girl lost last Friday in
the coffee plantations
in Tarrazú was found
alive and in good health
Sunday afternoon, after
spending two nights in
the cold. She was found
some 500 metres from
where she lives, at the
edge of a river.
Stephanny Alvarado
Trejos was found around
2:00pm Sunday after the
Cruz Roja (Red Cross)
and volunteers scoured
the area for the little
girl.
Stephany, along with her
three brothers and
parents were harvesting
coffee plants in the
finca de San Marcos de
Tarrazú. Everyone made
it home that day except
Stephany.
The family is from the
southern zone of San
Vito de Coto Brus,
arriving in Tarrazú to
earn money harvesting
coffee in the local
plantations.
Stephany, according to
the Cruz Roja and
doctors who examined her
is good physical
condition despite
enduring the cold chilly
night air of the coffee
fields.
The little girl, who is
alert and oriented, will
also be examined by a
Forensic doctor. |
