Four of Five Men Executed Were Panamanian
Four of the five men found executed Wednesday in the southern zone have been identified as being Panamanian nationals who have a criminal history of drugs. One of the men, according to Costa Rican police authorities, was shot several times, while the others had only a single gunshot to the head.

Costa Rican authorities confiscated two vehicles that are believed to have been used in the execution style murder of the five men and are co-ordinating their efforts to Panamanian police authorities to track down those responsible.

Costa Rica - Panama - An Uncontrolled Border
A Telenoticias (channel 7 television news) reports that there are at least 80 different points along the Costa Rica Panama border that can be used to move between the two countries without any type of controls.

The news team reports that they crossed a number of points along the border, that is believed to be used by drug traffickers, without the presence of any police.

12 Year Old Girl Found Safer After Reported Missing
The 12 year old girl that had gone missing since Wednesday in Playa Herradura was found alive and safe at the home of her 27 year old boyfriend in Alajuelita, San José. The parents of the girl called police after she disappeared and had received threats from the man, who says she is her boyfriend.

The girl will be returned to her family after the Jacó detachment of the Organismo de Investigación Judicial (OIJ) received a call alerting them to her location.
