Meet in Venezuela
Caracas - The Economy
Ministers of the
Bolivarian Alternative
for the Americas (ALBA)
arranged in Caracas the
creation of a common
currency.
Venezuelan Economy and
Finance Minister Ali
Rodriguez said they
talked of a virtual
currency called Regional
Unique Compensation
System (SUCRE).
Rodriguez told
Venezolana de Television
that the agenda included
energy and territorial
integration to help
break the isolation
hurting our countries.
This meeting precedes
the December 14 Summit
of ALBA, made up of
Bolivia, Cuba, Dominica,
Honduras, Nicaragua and
Venezuela, plus Ecuador
as observer. |
