Summer Is Finally Here.
Maybe.
It's almost time to put
away the sweater and the
umbrella, as warmer days
and summer is expected
to kick in next week,
according to the
Instituto Meterológico
Nacional (IMN) -
national weather
service.
The rainy or winter
season typically ends by
mid November, when the
rain leaves us until May
and prices at hotels and
resorts typically go up.
However, this year, a
number of cold fronts
have meant that the rain
- albeit light - has
lingered on as so have
the cold mornings.
That is all over, says
the IMN. The weather in
the Central Valley (San
Jose) is for lots of
sunshine in the
mornings, a light breeze
in the afternoons and
little, if any, clouds.
For the Zona Norte and
the Caribbean, the rain
should cease. The IMN is
predicting scattered
showers in the mornings
and clear skies at
night.
In the Zona Sur, no rain
is being called for,
although clouds will
linger, accompanied by
light winds.
For the Pacific
areas(Manuel Antonio,
Jaco, Puntarenas,
Guanacaste beachers),
the forecast is sunny
and hot. |
