Mother's Day Sales Not Heating Up
 The economic crisis and the annual "romeria" to Cartago this weekend may be the reason for the slow sales on the second weekend before Mother's Day, even though most retailers have begun their Mother's Day campaigns to lure consumers to spend with special prices on items like appliances and home furnishings.

Retailers have yet to see the Mother's Day buying rush.
