Nicaragua, The Central
American Country With
The Least Homicides
Nicaragua is expected to
close off the year with
a record, 14 homicides
per 100.000 inhabitants,
well below the
indicators for the
region according to the
international police
organization, Interpol.
According to Interpol
chief, Aminta Granera,
the indicators for Latin
America is 30 homicides
per 100.000 inhabitants.
Granera added that
Nicaragua also has a
lower rate in bank
robberies and car thefts
compared to the other
countries in the region.
