Intracom Telecom wins new US$2.8
million order
Intracom Telecom, part of
Sistronics Telecommunication
Solutions division, said it has
signed a contract worth about
us$2.8 million with the
Instituto Costarricense de
Electricidad (ICE) for the
provision of ISDN terminals and
the extension of relevant
centralized management system.
The company said that this
contract is an extension of the
previous one, worth about us$2
million implemented within 2003.
The state-owned ICE and its
subsidiary RACSA are the only
providers of both fixed-line and
mobile telephony, internet and
data communications in Costa
Rica.
Greek listed defence and
technology group Intracom
Holdings controls a 49 pct stake
in Intracom Telecom.
