Gas Price Down Tomorrow
It's official, as we predicted,
at the stroke of midnight
tonight, gasoline prices drop.
This is the third consecutive
drop in the past month,
following a series of hikes that
brought the price to almost ¢600
colones a litre.
The price drop was approved by
the Autoridad Reguladora de los
Servicios Públicos (Aresep),
following a request by the
Refinadora Costarricense de
Petróleo (Recope) and was today
published in the official
government publication, La
Gaceta.
The price at the pump tomorrow
will be ¢528 colones for a litre
of super, down from ¢548; and,
¢501 for regular, down from
¢520.
