U.S. Delegation Going To Nicaragua
The White House is sending a presidential delegation to Nicaragua to observe the Nov. 5 presidential election.

The delegation will include U.S. Ambassador to Nicaragua Paul Trivelli as well as former Sen. J. Bennet Johnston and former Rep. Bill Paxon.

The announcement came the same day that the State Department issued assurances that the United States has no position on Nicaragua's election.

Russia has expressed concern about the U.S. intentions in Nicaragua.
