Eight Die in Nica New Year´s Parties
Nicaraguan New Year celebrations left at least eight dead under different circumstances, National Police reported Monday.

Authorities reported four murders, two people drowned plus a death from alcohol poisoning and one traffic accident in various Nicaraguan departments.

National Police redoubled their forces in Managua and all provincial capitals during Christmas and New Year festivities to neutralize the growing crime wave prevailing in the nation.
