Dial A Lawyer Service Offers
Legal Help
Dial a lawyer, like dial a
doctor or pharmacist, has become
a reality in Costa Rica.
Now, you don't have to leave the
comfort of your home to get
legal advice, nor have to hit
the streets looking for a
lawyer, though that is not too
difficult, especially in San
José.
For advice on legal and
procedural matters, the new
service has three lawyers online
who will be able to discuss your
concerns 24 hours a day Monday
to Friday.
The cost is ˘800 colones
(us$1.55 dollars) per minute by
calling 9000-212121.
The service has been operational
for several weeks and a
spokesperson for the service
said they have been handling
some 30 calls a day for advice
on labour, family and transit
laws.
