Bolivia Assembly Approaches Deal
Bolivia s Constituent Assembly is resuming its sessions on Wednesday amid a more relaxed atmosphere between the government and the opposition, following an agreement signed yesterday on the voting method.

According to some members of the Assembly s multiparty commission, the article 70 of the debate rules was adopted peacefully.

For Ramon Loayza, leader of governing Movement towards Socialism (MAS), that article, which envisages a mixed formula to make decisions, was well-argued by that majority party.

Loayza also pointed out that the reform of article 70 does not mean establishing the two thirds as opposition PODEMOS and Unidad Nacional want.
