Festival de la Luz Today
For those driving into San José
today keep in mind the total
closure of to Paseo Colon and
Avenida Segunda and partial
closings of adjacent streets, to
make way for the annual "Festial
de la Luz".
Beginning at 1:00pm today, the
Policía de Tránsito will close
off Paseo Colon and Avenida
Segunda. Buses and vehicular
traffic will be rerouted on
adjacent streets, which, like
Avenida 10, may be partially
closed to allow the floats to
move to the eastern border of
the Sabana park.
The light festival begins at
sundown (after 6:00pm). However,
this year there will be an added
parade beginning at 3:00pm.
